One of the most common questions received by the AquaGrove team is: “How do I install AquaGrove?” For those of you who already have an AquaGrove, you know that the installation process is made easy with a step-by-step assembly guide. But for those who are new to AquaGrove, you may still have questions.
For this reason, we are going to provide answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding AquaGrove installation:
1 – Is there a guide for installation?
Yes, as previously mentioned, every AquaGrove system comes with a step-by-step assembly guide, making it easy to identify every component and install the system indoors or outdoors. Additionally, AquaGrove offers technical support by phone, and video chats if required.
2- How many people do you need to install the system?
While we have seen the system set up by two people, we recommend three to four people just to make it easier. Another benefit of having more than two people is that the process provides a great opportunity for team building and learning about the system. By assembling the system, users have expressed a greater sense of confidence and comfort with AquaGrove before they get started as they have a better understanding of the components and how the system connects.
3- How long does it take to assemble an AquaGrove?
On average, a standard system is assembled in 2.5-3 hours, but it will also depend on the number of people involved in the process. Also, if you have additional grow beds or solar components as add-on features, more time will be required.
4- Do I need to have a background in aquaponics to install the system?
No, you do not need to have any experience with aquaponics to assemble or use AquaGrove. The Assembly Manual and Start-up Guide provide everything you need to install and start your system.
5- Can students assemble the AquaGrove?
Yes, with adult/teacher supervision, students have assembled AquaGrove on their own. From middle school through university level and adult education, AquaGrove provides a hands-on learning experience for all ages.
